Anxiety Disorders

How People with Anxiety Disorders can use Cards for Life

All anxiety disorders share the common denominator that people have an exaggerated fear of something, preventing them from reacting in an appropriate way. Over time their grip on reality will disappear and things can no longer be seen in a reasonable context. People can be afraid of material things such as spiders, but can also be terrified of immaterial things such as the fear of anxiety itself.

The Cards for Life, which I designed during my own difficult learning process and which have helped me greatly, will support clients during an anxiety attack, because they can lead thoughts in a new direction and therefore help clients to overcome their acute panic more quickly. Thanks to their positive maxims the Cards can also counteract negative thought processes during an anxiety disorder.
